Stallions Nation,
Welcome to a new year with Cabarrus Stallions Football!
Many have been working behind the scenes, getting the season ready, and putting things in place to make this an outstanding season!
From now until July, all Stallions are invited to participate in pre-season conditioning. Coach Whichard has arranged for all Stallions to train with an experienced position trainer, Antico Dalton, in Huntersville. He is asking all Stallion players to come out on April 25th, May 9th, and May 23rd from 9 am to 10am at Christ the King Catholic School located at 2011 Crusader Way, Huntersville, NC 28078. This location is 7 miles from the old practice field at Covenant Classical. Please arrive by 8:45 so that we are ready to start on time. The cost for these sessions is $10 each time. We will be hosting a combine this season. Combine details will be available soon.

To participate in preseason conditioning you must have either a signed registration form from the 2014 season or a current registration form with paid registration, or a signed participation form to participate in preseason workouts. See Coach Whichard for registration forms at practice, or download the forms from http://www.cabarrusstallions.com/wordpress/documentation and bring them with you to practice.
To participate in regular season practices you must be registered with the Stallions.
Cost for the 2015 season are $300. While the registration amount does not cover all expenses required to “make the season work” it does begin to offset the cost of league participation, field rental, equipment, practice fields, and so forth.  Students will be allowed to compete in games once the team has a signed registration form, the necessary payment, a signed physical, and birth certificate on file.
Several of our parents have volunteered to run a golf tournament fundraiser on July 18th at 2 pm to help meet the further costs of the season. The more money we make up front, the more fun things we can do for the players. It will also help purchase additional practice equipment and other needs. We are so very thankful for their efforts, since just to outfit a player with the correct safety equipment, costs around $500. Thank you, Chris and Eric for getting it together! Flyers and further information will be available at practice, on the facebook page, and the website. Hole sponsorships are $100. If you know of a person or business that would like to sponsor a hole, please let them know about the event!
Every year, the Cabarrus Stallions offers all players and their families the opportunity to raise money to help offset the cost of registration. We do this through a very popular program with Little Caesar’s Pizza Kits. For each pizza kit you sell, you earn $5 towards the registration cost for your player. More information will follow. Differently from years past, we will offer this fundraiser twice, once during the summer/preseason conditioning, and once after official practices begin.
Team (and individual) pictures will be taken before practice on August 10. More information to follow!
Cabarrus Stallions Football relies completely on volunteer and parental involvement. To that end, please consider which responsibilities that you would like to take on to help make this year an outstanding success for your player! A parent involvement sheet is attached with necessary positions listed. We will fill it in as you let us know what you would like to do!
Keep up with the Stallions through email, facebook (Cabarrus Stallions official), twitter (C_Stallions), instagram (cabarrus_stallions_official), and cabarrusstallions.com !
See you at practice!
